Fauteuils roulants — Dehiwala — juin 2025
Deux fauteuils roulants ont été récupérés en Bretagne puis acheminés à Sri Lanka. Merci Marie-Aude ! L'un a été donné à l'hôpital de Lunawa et l'autre à l'hôpital pour enfants Lady Ridgeway. Dans ce dernier hôpital, un service de prêt de fauteuils est proposé aux enfants atteints de myopathie de Duchenne (DMD).
Two wheelchairs were collected in Brittany and sent to Sri Lanka. Thank you, Marie-Aude! One was donated to Lunawa Hospital and the other to Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital. The latter hospital offers a wheelchair loan service for children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
Distribution de ballons aux écoles — Colombo & Matale — juin 2025
En octobre 2023, le club sportif breton Les Cormorans Sportifs de Penmarc'h nous a légué plus d'une centaine de ballons de football. Nous les avons finalement envoyés au Sri Lanka en 2025 pour les distribuer à environ 25 écoles et un club sportif (après les avoir dégonflés en Bretagne, mis en carton en Île-de-France, puis envoyés au Sri Lanka). Nous tenons à remercier les Cormorans et la famille de Marie-Aude !
In October 2023, Les Cormorans Sportifs de Penmarc'h, a sports club based in Brittany, donated over a hundred footballs to us. After deflating them in Brittany and packing them in boxes in Île-de-France, we finally sent them to Sri Lanka in 2025 to be distributed to about 25 schools and one sports club. We would like to thank Les Cormorans and Marie-Aude's family for their generous donation.
Aide aux Handicapés — Baduraliya — 6 juin 2025
Suravi continue de soutenir les familles de Badureliya qui s'occupent de leurs enfants handicapés. Cette année, nous avons contribué financièrement aux repas lors d'une sortie au zoo de Dehiwala, organisée par l'association Pivituru Svaśakti.
Suravi continues to support families in Badureliya who care for their disabled children. This year, we contributed financially to meals during an outing to Dehiwala Zoo, organised by the association Pivituru Svaśakti.
Garderie / Centre de loisirs — Kandy — mai 2025
Suravi et le groupe de quatre chefs scouts (les J'adeos), qui avait effectué un séjour humanitaire à Sri Lanka, en 2024, ont fourni du matériel à une garderie/centre de loisirs, rue Lamagaraya, à Kandy.
Suravi and the group of four scout leaders (the J'adeos), who had been on a humanitarian trip to Sri Lanka in 2024, provided equipment to a daycare centre/recreation centre on Lamagaraya Street in Kandy.
Célébration de nouvel an — Ratmalana & Mount Lavinia — avril 2025
Suravi a contribué aux célébrations du nouvel an srilankais dans une école maternelle de Ratmalana en achetant des dinettes traditionnelles et en finançant les repas de cette école et du collège Dharmodaya, à Mount Lavinia.
Suravi contributed to the Sri Lankan New Year celebrations at a nursery school in Ratmalana by purchasing traditional kitchen toys and funding the meals for this school and Dharmodaya college, Mount Lavinia.
Jeunes handicapés — Galle — avril 2025
Avec trois étudiantes infirmières françaises volontaires, Suravi a contribué à célébrer le Nouvel An srilankais au foyer Sambodi de Galle. Suravi a notamment acheté et offert des sacs faits main par des femmes soutenues par l'association We're SL, et financé des repas et d'autres cadeaux.
Together with three French nursing student volunteers, Suravi helped celebrate the Sri Lankan New Year at the Sambodi Home in Galle, by purchasing and offering hand made bags made by women supported by We're SL association and funding meals and other gift items.
Distribution de repas — Ratmalana — mars 2025
Dans une « PMI » (Maternal & Child Clinic, Kotalawalapura, Ratmalana), une distribution de nourriture a été financée par Suravi, par l'intermédiaire des étudiantes infirmières françaises en stage à Sri Lanka.
A food distribution was funded by Suravi, in a Maternal & Child Clinic (Kotalawalapura, Ratmalana), through French nursing students on an internship placement in Sri Lanka.
Infirmières — février et mars 2025
Quatre étudiantes infirmières de l'Institut de formations paramédicales (IFPM) (Orléans) ont effectué un stage de cinq semaines à l’hôpital ayurvédique « Sidhalepa » à Mount Lavinia ainsi qu'à l’hôpital de Lunawa.
Four nursing students from the Institute of Paramedical Training (IFPM) in Orléans completed a five-week internship at the Sidhalepa Ayurvedic Hospital in Mount Lavinia and at Lunawa Hospital.
Aide aux victimes des inondations — Sithandi, Batticaloa — janvier 2025
Suravi a apporté un soutien financier à l'association We're SL pour la distribution de repas dans l’église anglicane de Morakatanchenai (environ 60 personnes).
Suravi provided financial support to the We're SL association for the distribution of meals at the Anglican church in Morakatanchenai (approximately 60 people).
École maternelle — Ratmalana — janvier 2025
Suravi a aidé une école maternelle de Ratmalana (environ 30 enfants) à se doter d'un petit système de sonorisation.
Suravi helped a nursery school in Ratmalana (approximately 30 children) to install a small sound system.
